1. I'm moving to Bensenville. What do I need to register my child?

Ask your child's current school for a transfer form and a copy of his/her most current physical / immunization record. If your child has an Individualized Education Plan, please bring a copy, as well as a copy of the report card. In order to register, you will need the following: Original birth certificate; lease or mortgage papers; and four additional proofs such as: photo ID; insurance policy; utility bill, cable bill, vehicle registration, etc. We will need a lease / mortgage paper at time of registration and you will have 30 days to bring in four additional proofs.

2. When is my child eligible to enroll in kindergarten?

Kindergarten will be provided for all students who are residents of the District and have reached the age of 5 on or before September 1, of the current school year. Registration for the 2013-14 school year will be held March 20 at the school from 1 to 6 p.m.

3. Do you have a lunch program?

We do have a breakfast and lunch program. A menu is sent home monthly. You may purchase a breakfast ticket for $25 and/or a lunch ticket for $40. Both are good for one month or your child may bring $1.25 for breakfast & $2 for lunch each day they plan to participate. The tickets are good for 20 breakfasts or lunches and meals do not have to be purchased daily.

4. Do you have before or after-school daycare?

We do not have before school daycare. The Bensenville Park District has an afterschool program. Students are bused from our school over to the Park District where you may pick them up. For more information, please contact the Park District.
