1. Is my child too sick to go to school?

Please do not send your child to school if he or she displays any of the following symptoms:

• Eyes - Red, itchy, and/or have a discharge


• Nose – Draining with a yellow or green discharge


• Throat – Red and inflamed with white spots or if it is swollen and it hurts the child to swallow.


• Ears – Any complaint of ear pain can be serious in young children.


• Fever – A temperature of 100 degrees or higher.


• Rash – Any part of the body that has a rash needs to be diagnosed by a doctor. The school will need a note from the doctor stating when the child may return to school.
