Is my child too sick to go to school?
Please do not send your child to school if he or she displays any of the following symptoms:
Eyes
- Red, itchy, and/or have a discharge
Nose
– Draining with a yellow or green discharge
Throat
– Red and inflamed with white spots or if it is swollen and it hurts the child to swallow.
Ears
– Any complaint of ear pain can be serious in young children.
Fever
– A temperature of 100 degrees or higher.
Rash
– Any part of the body that has a rash needs to be diagnosed by a doctor. The school will need a note from the doctor stating when the child may return to school.
