Fenton Middle School Band Night for 7th and 8th Grade Band
This year, we will be participating in the Fenton Middle School Band Night (7th and 8th grade Band only). This will include a mandatory rehearsal on Tuesday, Sept. 14 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and a performance on Friday, Sept. 17 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm or 9:00 pm. Students will be required to wear jeans, comfortable shoes and their green Blackhawk Band polo shirt. Students will also need to find their own transportation for themselves and their instrument to both the rehearsal and the perfomance. If you need help transporting larger instruments, please contact Mr. Winters.

Thank you to all of the parents of Band students who attended Curriculum Night. As discussed, you can download the Handbook in English or Spanish here or on the downloadable documents page to the left. You can also download Weekly Practice Reflections there. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about Band or your child. We look forward to working with you and your children this school year.
First Band Boosters Meeting
There will be a Band Boosters meeting on Tuesday, September 7 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. You can download the agenda here. If your child is in the Band program, then you are automatically part of the Boosters organization. Come help support the program and your child, and be a part of the decision-making process for our Boosters. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Winters or Ms. Evans.
7/8 Band at the Chicago Steel Game
On Friday, October 1, 2010 the 7th and8th grade band students will be attending the Chicago Steel Hockey Game at the Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville. More information will be available as we receive it.
