Anti-bullying Resources

Johnson School and School District 2 are committed to eradicating bullying behavior.  Our most important goal is keeping our kids safe and sharing information with parents to ensure this continues beyond the school walls.  If you suspect bullying is happening, please contact one of the Principals or teachers as soon as possible.

We sponsor several anti-bullying assemblies throughout the year and actively address these concerns through our school-wide PBIS program.  We are also proud of our Smart Start parent and student presentations in October focusing on cyber safety for our 4th and 5th grade students.

Students are encouraged to talk to a teacher, principal, parent, or other staff member as well as using our anonymous
Bullying Tip Line at 630.634.2915 (call/text) and .

The Student Handbook states that:
Bullying, intimidation, and harassment diminish a student's ability to learn and a school's ability to educate. Preventing students from engaging in these disruptive behaviors is an important District goal. Bullying is contrary to State law and the policy of this School District. (7:180)
