Course Description:

Grade 6 – “Get Connected”

Students in 6^th grade are instructed in the basics for Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Projects are related to using these programs to better understand how to use each in the future. In addition, students access the Internet for graphics and research subjects for background.

Grade 7- “Mod Squad”

Students in 7^th grade will be building off of the information gained in the 6^th grade with reinforcements to each of the above programs. Plus, students will use MS Excel.

 Travel Brochures

Grade 8- “Reflections Project”

Students will produce a Moviemaker movie presentation consisting of their experiences both in and out of Blackhawk Middle School. They will include text, graphics, animation and audio in their project.
