Course Description:  The Strategic Reading Lab is designed to improve students’ reading comprehension by developing and practicing reading comprehension strategies and skills with a variety of materials.  The class also focuses on reading fluency and vocabulary development.  Students will spend twelve weeks in this class.

 

The Reading Blitz class concentrates on students’ decoding and word attack skills.  The class will focus on improving students’ word accuracy and fluency, in addition to increasing their vocabulary skills.  Students will spend eighteen weeks in this class.
