Hello Johnson students and parents!

I can't believe the 2012-2013 school year is well under way! Wow!

Thanks for checking out Ms. Skibbie's music website for Johnson School!  We have lots of fun things in store for us this year, and I cannot wait to enjoy every minute in our beautiful classroom and amazing new school!

I recently updated the "Links" section of this website where you will find lots of interactive sites that will help your child to learn more about music and reinforce the concepts that are covered in class. Check out some fun additions in the Music Websites and Games category, and some old favorites in Compose Your Own Music, All About Instruments, and Music History Sections.  Take Me There!

Besides the Internet, I highly recommend taking a trip to the public library to check out all sorts of great books about music, and also the many CDs that are available. There are tons of great resources and music right at your fingertips!

Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions about what your child is learning in music class, or if you wish to discuss your child's progress in class.

Thanks for stopping by! Check back often to see new things we are learning about in the music room.

"You are the music while the music lasts."---T. S. Eliot
