Arbor Day Celebration
The Village of Bensenville planted a tree at W.A. Johnson School on Friday, April 26 for Arbor Day to commemorate the new school. The Village of Bensenville has for more than two decades celebrated Arbor Day by planting a tree somewhere in the village, according to Ken Rubach, public works supervisor. A tree was also planted at Tioga School. Local officials participated while students representing each grade shared reading a famous quote in honor of the tree holiday.
