Bensenville District 2 and Assistant Superintendent for Learning Dr.
Kay Dugan have emerged as leaders across the state in transforming
learning to the new Illinois Learning Standards Incorporating Common Core Standards.
Assessing these standards won't go into effect until 2014-15, but work
has already begun to enhance and adapt learning to the new standards in

align and develop new curriculum to address these standards, which focus
on college and career readiness.
