Overview
Blackhawk Middle School serves all District 2 students in sixth, seventh and eighth grade. Blackhawk has an enrollment of approximately 700 students.
8th Grade Promotion Pictures
8th Grade Promotion pictures will be taken on Wednesday, Feb. 3. All 8th grade students will take six different poses. Proofs will be sent home in two weeks for parents to view and place an order.
Volleyball tryouts
Volleyball tryouts for boys and girls will be held from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3 and Friday, Feb. 5. Anyone trying out is expected to be at all tryout days. An additional tryout may be held Monday, Feb. 8 if necessary. Permission slips, waivers and current physicals must be on file with the school nurse before a student will be allowed to try out. Participants must meet academic eligibility requirements throughout the season.
