Summer School
Summer school is held June 10-July 2. W.A. Johnson School hosts kindergarten-3rd Grade students, while Blackhawk Middle School hosts 4th Grade through 8th Grade students. Breakfast and lunch are served free of charge.
Free breakfast and lunch for children
Breakfast is served to any child under 18 fro 8 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. At W.A. Johnson School School of from 8:15 to 8:30 a.m. at Blackhawk Middle School. Lunch is served at both locations from 11:50 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.
Children do not need to be attending summer school to get the free meals. Simply check in at the school office. This program is provided as part of the Federal School Lunch Program while summer school is in session.

Welcoming Day and Registration
Welcoming Day will be held August 6 from 2 to 6 p.m. All parents must provide proof of residence and pay fees. Students will receive classroom assignments.
