Returning students who have not yet registered for the 2025-2026 school year, as well as students entering Grades K-5 who are new to the District, will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday, July 31 at all BSD2 schools.
Before classes convene, all students in Grades Pre-K-5 attending W.A. Johnson and Tioga Schools will be able to meet their teachers on Tuesday, August 19.
Blackhawk Middle School’s eighth graders celebrated the completion of their District 2 careers during their promotion ceremony held Tuesday, June 3, at Fenton High School.
Under the District’s new “first-day exclusion” policy, students whose health exam and immunization records are NOT up-to-date and on file at their schools will NOT be allowed to start the new school year on August 20.
Bensenville School District 2 will serve FREE meals to anyone 18 years and younger throughout the summer at Tioga School, 212 W. Memorial Road.
Eligible families will receive a $120 benefit card per student to help buy food during the summer through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Electronic Benefits (EBT) program, also known as SUN Bucks.
