Preparing Students for a World of Opportunity

Blackhawk Announcements

  • STUDENT LUNCHES & FOOD DELIVERIES AT SCHOOL

Each day, students should plan to bring a lunch from home or purchase one in the cafeteria.

When a student forgets to pack a lunch, parents may drop one off in the front office prior to their child's lunch period, or contact the office to make arrangements for the student to purchase a meal that day.

DO NOT order food to be delivered to the school through such services as Grubhub and Uber Eats.

We are prohibiting this practice because it is proving disruptive to the school day. It encourages student usage of cellphones in class, and orders through these services usually do not arrive in time for the student's lunch period, causing them to miss class while they eat their meals in the office.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
