Bilingual Parent Advisory Council
BPAC is a council that is mandated by the State of Illinois as part of the EL program structure. BPAC members are parents of EL program students and EL department staff. BPAC meets at least four times a year. The purpose of the Council is to receive information related to the instruction of EL students, to learn of innovations and programmatic changes and to provide input regarding the interest and needs of the parents, students and the larger school community.
