Erin's Law

  • Erin’s Law is a state law mandating that all public school in Illinois provide age-appropriate personal body safety lessons to children in Grades PreK-12. Students will learn who their trusted adults are. They will learn the difference between safe and unsafe secrets, and the difference between safe and unsafe touch. Lessons will be taught four times throughout the year. A parent meeting will take place in September to go into further details about this law and the program taught in school.
