BSD2 is offering summer school and enrichment programs for students this summer! 

Bensenville School District 2 will hold Kindergarten Registration on Tuesday, April 7, from 3:00–7:00 p.m. at your home school: Tioga School (212 W. Memorial Rd.) or W.A. Johnson School (252 Ridgewood Ave.). Families unsure of their assigned school can call 630-766-5940 for help.

Current BSD2 Pre-K students should not attend April 7; they will complete online kindergarten registration starting April 9 through the returning student process.

The District 2 Board of Education approved the official 2026-2027 school calendar during its February 18 meeting.

BSD2 is excited to share that we are participating in the IASPA PreK-12 Educator Virtual Job Fair on March 12 from 3 – 7 pm CT.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 20, 21, and 22!

We understand that many families in our community are currently facing uncertainty and hardship due to disruptions to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Please remember you are not alone. BSD2 and our community partners are ALL IN when it comes to supporting our families.  

Bensenville School District 2 will conduct free developmental screenings for children ages 3-5 on August 12, September 18, October 22, December 5, February 19, and May 29. These screenings are the first step in identifying children for our Preschool for All program and/or Head Start. Call the Tioga School office at 630-766-2602 ext. 4200 to schedule an appointment for your child’s screening.

Please make certain the school has your correct phone numbers and email addresses on file. Also, please revisit who you have listed as emergency contacts.

District 2 now calls eLearning Days when closing schools due to extreme weather. An eLearning Day counts as a regular school day, and does not require the District to use a built-in emergency day at the end of the school year.
