Blackhawk Middle School serves all the sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students of Bensenville School District 2. There are approximately 700 students enrolled at the school.

There’s encouraging information about our grads in Fenton’s 2017 Senior Profile

Before they received their diplomas, members of Fenton High School’s Class of 2017 shared their post-graduation plans for the school’s 2017 Senior Profile.

According to that profile, 182 of those 350 graduates attended Blackhawk Middle School before arriving at Fenton. Following graduation …

• 47 percent planned to attend a four-year college or university
• 42.5 percent planned to attend a community college of trade school
• 6.6 percent planned to begin working and not attend school
• 2.8 percent planned to join the military
  
  

A total of 173 of them sent out 682 admissions applications, which resulted in a 74 percent acceptance rate. In all, they reported earning $595,840 in scholarships to use at the colleges they plan to attend.
