Student learning is maximized when students feel safe, engaged with their teachers/peers, and see how their learning applies to the real world. The teaching staff at Tioga is incredibly talented and dedicated to supporting students and the Bensenville community. The teachers work tirelessly to implement a relevant and rigorous curriculum that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of their students. As a school leader, I am committed to supporting the students as they develop their social-emotional competencies and ignite their passion to learn. It is through our collective efforts that we can promote equity in opportunity, provide service beyond self, and create powerful memories for students around learning.

PassionAs an educator and leader, I value building strong relationships with students, staff, and families to serve as the foundation for a team approach to education. In the classroom, I value a student-centered approach to learning in order to maximize each child's full potential. I firmly believe that ALL children can learn when provided with the appropriate supports and tools. To build a strong culture of learning, I strive to create a school environment that is welcoming, safe, responsive, engaging, and equitable for all. Embracing multiculturalism and celebrative the diversity of our Tioga community is very important to me as I learn about and celebrate the unique backgrounds of our students. I believe Tioga can provide the best educational opportunities for each child when the school, families, and community work together with a common purpose. I look forward to collaborating with the entire Tioga community to provide a high quality and rigorous education for each student that supports their growth and development socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and academically as they become lifelong learners.
