Bensenville School District 2 is one of many school districts across the country impacted by a December 28, 2024, data breach of the PowerSchool Student Information System.
Your student’s archived information was part of this data breach.

It is important to emphasize that PowerSchool shared these specific details about the data breach:
- PowerSchool has conducted a forensic investigation of the scope of the incident and continues to monitor for signs of information misuse.
- PowerSchool has confirmed that the breach was in their system and not related to any District action.
- PowerSchool has assured us that the risk of the breached data being misused is low, and said it is not aware of any identity theft attributed to this incident.
